After three years of work, interrupted due to the health emergency, on Saturday 24 July 2021, the “Locanda dei pescatori” was inaugurated in Sant’Arcangelo di Magione. The restaurant was designed, built and managed by the Cooperativa dei Pescatori del Trasimeno. The Locanda represents a unique national example of concentration of various economic activities that aim at integration between fishing, tourism, agriculture and hospitality companies.

The offer of fresh local products, skillfully processed and cooked and for visitors and guests, will close the lake’s fish supply chain in a sustainable way. The new headquarters is located near the tanks for breeding and restocking fish (Regional Ichtogenic Center). This initiative fully enters the activities of the TRASIMENO LIVING LAB, connecting to the other production sectors in a circular economy logic:
