During this webinar they will share insights on high level international developments of smart farming. As the project IOF2020 is coming to an end, the efforts to develop Europe as the Smart Agri-food continent are quite noticeable. In the meanwhile, on other continents, similar initiatives are taking place. As part of a greater international mission to support digital transformation within Agri-food, this webinar will provide you with an overview of key projects / key current developments outside of Europe.

The Platform for Big Data in Agriculture is a global program of the CGIAR consortium centered on digital transformation of food systems worldwide. Dive with our speakers into the trends in digital agriculture innovation and concrete cases from developing economy contexts. This topic will be introduced by Gohar Nuhoff-Isakhanyan of Wageningen Economic Research (WEcR). She (co-) leads the business model support team of the IOF2020 project, and coordinates projects on AI and robotization.
