The Umbria Wine Tourism Movement organizes visits to the wineries during the harvest period in the territory of Trasimeno, discovering the varieties of grapes, must and wine (DOC COLLI TRASIMENO WHITE and RED).
One of our stakeholders, Carini Agricultural Company, hosts anyone who wants to do tasting of typical and quality products. Guided tours of farms, coupled with slowtourism, are another clear example of a circular local economy. The related activities are no longer only agricultural and food activities, but also the receptivity and the possibility of carrying out recreational and cultural activities (trekking, mountain biking, wine classes, cooking, etc.). At this time the COMPANY CARINI (Canneto – IT), with more than 50 hectares of vineyard, olive grove and arable land, makes many migrants work, contributing strongly also to social inclusivity in the territory of Trasimeno. The company falls back on the paths of the STRADA DEL VINO TRASIMENO, aiming at the development of in perfect agreement with national and regional agricultural policies.
