The european Project Liverur, integrated in the H2020 programme, lead by San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia and cofinanced by the European Union, was officially inaugurated on 25 of June 2018 in the university campus ‘Los Jerónimos’ of Murcia (UCAM). Twenty two partners of Liverur met there for the first time to present this Project.

Ángel Pablo Cano, the director of the Office of the International Projects (OPRI) of UCAM said that with this initiative the economy will develop and the employment will get better. To achieve this aim, new business models will be created with living labs to increase the rural development. All of this based on the circular business model.

Also, representatives of the partners countries visited one of the murcian agricultural cooperative, La Vega of Cieza, as an example of how circular business model works.
