THE ECONOMIC CHAINS IN THE TRASIMENO PILOT REGION

We summarize below the main economic and production chains that have affected and that will affect the TRASIMENO LIVING LAB in the coming months. All activities are strongly
interconnected.

1) Agritourism activities: accommodation, catering, tasting, sports, recreational and cultural activities.
2) SLOWTOURISM: routes around the lake and on the surrounding hills, historical routes, experience tourism, wine tourism, musical and traditional events.
3) Local and traditional markets.
4) Olive oil supply chain (cultivation, harvesting, processing, production, certification, sale).
5) Colli del Trasimeno wine chain (DOC and IGT) (cultivation, harvesting, processing, production, certification, sale, wine tourism)
6) Cereals sector (soft wheat, durum wheat, barley, oats, spelt), (cultivation, harvesting, processing, labelling, sale).
7) Legumes (bean, chickpea, lentil) chain (cultivation, harvesting, processing, labelling, sale).
8) Wood and energy supply chain (cultivation, cutting of plants, pruning, felling, maintenance of the territory, chipping, production of electricity and heat).
9) FISHING: production, processing, sale, experience tourism, sport fishing, food by-products.

In the coming months, UCT will create a WEB APP available to all stakeholders, with the possibility of identifying the demand and supply of products and services, of establishing individual
work agendas and of reporting facts and events with a strong territorial and environmental impact.
